My daughter went crazy and took her dry erase marker and marked all over the carpet. I received a good suggestion to try Simple Green and it is great on marker stains.

Another great product to try is Blue Coral although I haven’t tried this product yet. I read somewhere that rubbing alcohol can help take marker stains out. If all else fails, good old Oxy-clean can do the trick!!

Someone left a bright yellow piece of paper on their car seat and accidentally spilled their bottle of water on the paper. This caused the paper to stain their light tan leather on their car seat. Scrubbing it out didn’t work. Someone told them the solution was the Magic Eraser product and that Dawn dish washing liquid works just fine to remove the yellow stain. You want to test the area first to make sure it won’t damage the leather before using this solution as you would with any cleaner or soap product.

1. Remove Silly Putty off the material by  scraping it off with a dull knife.
2. Then Spray with WD-40 and let stand for 10-15 minutes.
3. Try and scrape off the Silly Putty again.
4. If there is still Silly Putty, then spray more WD-40 on the Silly Putty as needed, and wipe the stain with a rag or towel. When the residue of the Silly Putty is no longer visible, then apply rubbing alcohol to where the stain was and blot.  Continue doing this as necessary until the stain disappears.
